Rachel Lambert leading a small group of women foraging

7th June Foraging Walk

Discover the wild edible delights at the Porthtowan EcoPark on this leisurely wander for your senses, taking in the scents, textures and flavours of the hedgerows and grassy banks.

Expect to drop into the landscape in a deeper way, finding a doorway into the mulit-layered diversity surrounding us, coming away inspired to forage alongside the birds and bees.

On this foraging walk we’ll cover;

  • How to identify up to 8 common edible plants
  • Dos and don’ts of sustainable foraging
  • Recipe ideas, how to process and preserve
  • Look-a-like plants where available
  • Opportunity to but signed copies of Rachel’s foraging books

Organised as part of Porthtowan EcoPark’s summer fayres.
