Lungs / Air / Environment

A day to explore your relationship to your body and the environment through mindful body awareness and nature awareness. Based on the premise that the body is a natural organism that lives and functions in relation to the natural organism of the earth.

From indoors in a studio with under floor heating and outdoors amongst the trees and open space, we will connect to the process of breathing; the presence of the lungs and their life capacity, and how air connects both our internal and the external world we live in.

What's involved: Body awareness, touch, movement, walking, stillness, rest, a tiny bit of foraging, stirring a pot and eating together will make up the format of the day. Suitable for anybody wanting to explore an embodied and nourishing approach to life.

What to Bring/Wear: Some lunch will be provided, though please also bring something to share. Please wear loose, comfortable clothing, plus anything else for your comfort and well-being.

The Venue: Roselidden Farm is beautiful, warm, functional and a perfect venue for a retreat day. See more and directions here.
